ATP Handheld Fluorescence Detector – Revolutionizing Real-Time Hygiene Verification
ATP Handheld Fluorescence Detector – Revolutionizing Real-Time Hygiene Verification
What is ATP?
ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) is the universal energy molecule found in all forms of life—including animals, plants, bacteria, yeast, and mold. Food and other organic residues are rich in ATP. When these residues remain on a surface, they may harbor bacteria, foster biofilm formation, lead to cross-contamination, and compromise product quality and safety.
ATP Handheld Fluorescence Detector: Product Overview
The ATP handheld fluorescence detector is a portable, advanced device for measuring ATP as a reliable indicator of contamination, hygiene, and cleanliness. Versatile and economical, the system is ideal for large and small food processors, hospitals, catering services, restaurants, supermarkets, and other industries where rapid contamination detection is critical.
- Leverages modern photodiode technology for ultra-fast, accurate detection
- User-friendly, lightweight, and durable for flexible, professional measurements
- Delivers results within seconds, enabling full quality control and cost reduction
Principle of Operation
Microbial and organic contaminants carry ATP in small amounts. After cleaning, all ATP sources should be nearly eliminated. When ATP from a sampled surface is exposed to DF’s unique, liquid-stable luciferase/luciferin reagent inside the DF swab, a bioluminescent reaction occurs, emitting light proportional to ATP presence.
The detector measures this light output, with higher readings indicating greater contamination. Immediate cleanliness assessment after cleaning guarantees the removal of contaminants. This rapid system supports product quality, extends shelf-life, prevents cross-contamination, enables immediate corrective action, and reduces the likelihood of recalls.
